Well my friends, as the old saying goes “all good things must come to an end” and so with a heavy heart I am announcing the end of the Travel Queen Show. The Network has decided not to renew my contract.
Amazingly, 2010 is the start of my 17th continuous year of broadcasting the TQ Show and even I am surprised that it’s been on the air that long!! Many of you have been with me since the very beginning…when the show was just a little pre-recorded half-hour show that ran at 7 a.m. on Sunday mornings. I suppose the radio station figured I couldn’t do too much damage at that time of day! :) I am so very proud that the show has grown into a two hour ‘live’ broadcast during weekend prime time and is syndicated on 14 different radio stations throughout the state of Michigan. My web site will remain for awhile, and you know that if I find any "Hot Travel Tips" I will post them on my site for you.
Saturday, February 20th was my last show. I want to thank each of you so much for your loyalty to the show. I have enjoyed getting to know many of you through your e-mails, calls, and postcards. I have loved every minute of this journey and I feel like the luckiest woman on the planet to have been able to do this show for so many years. I will really miss you all!!!!
